Police Counter-terrorist units:
 - detain particularly dangerous criminals,
 - fight against terrorism,

 - search for people under water, as well as objects associated with a crime,

 - take part in rescue actions during natural disasters and catastrophes,
 - defuse bombs
 - protect important persons, state delegations.
The officers of the Independent Counter-Terrorist Police Units participate in actions with the highest degree of risk, therefore, they have to be perfectly prepared. During painstaking training, the policemen bring to perfection the tactics of operations, martial arts, shooting, diving, parachuting, high altitude rescue operations, protection of people and operations with explosive materials and devices. They constantly raise their qualifications and improve their skills under the tutelage of American, English, French and Israeli specialists.
